Terms of ServicePublished: March 29, 2026 · Last updated: April 22, 2026These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Alethe AI. Please read them carefully before using the platform. By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you unconditionally accept these Terms in their entirety.
1. DefinitionsFor the purposes of these Terms, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:•« Alethe » or « we » refers to Alethe AI, the company operating the platform accessible at alethe.ai.
•« Service » refers to the Alethe AI platform in its entirety, including the website, the debate engine, all associated features, and any mobile or desktop interface.

•« AI Models » refers to the large language models integrated into the platform (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, etc.), operated by third-party providers and accessible via the Service.
•« Credits » or « Quota » refers to the usage allowance allocated to each subscription plan, determining the number of debates accessible per month.
•« Consensus » refers to the final synthesized response produced at the end of a debate, calculated from the agreement score between AI models.
2. Purpose and ScopeThese Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Alethe AI platform, accessible at alethe.ai, operated by Alethe AI. They apply to all Users of the Service, regardless of the subscription plan held or the mode of access used.By accessing the Service, creating an account, or using any feature of the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Alethe regarding use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings on the same subject.
3. Description of the ServiceAlethe AI is a web platform that enables you to submit questions or complex topics to multiple artificial intelligence models simultaneously. These models participate in a shared real-time discussion, taking turns, and naturally converge toward a response that is more reliable than any single model could produce alone. The platform operates on a single discussion mode (Super Intelligence), available on all plans, offered in seven specialized variants depending on the subscription plan.3.1 Super Intelligence — Single ModeA central orchestrator manages the discussion between N AI models via a shared transcript. Models read the question, assess the complexity of the request, and respond naturally: a direct answer for a simple question, a structured debate if the question warrants it. The user can inject new messages at any point to redirect the discussion. Four conditions may end a debate automatically: convergence (score ≥ 85%), position stagnation, token limit reached, or manual stop by the user.Available models are grouped into four tiers based on cost and capability. Each subscription plan grants access to a maximum model tier (tier 1 for Free, tier 2 for Pro, tier 3 for Ultra, tier 4 for Apex).
3.2 Specialized ModesSeven conversation modes are available, each suited to a specific type of question or use case:•Alethe — Default analytical mode, balanced discussions (all plans)
•Friendly — Relaxed and educational tone, accessible to all (all plans)
•Business — Strategic advice, decision-focused with ROI considerations (Pro, Ultra, Apex plans)
•Health — General medical information, with a systematic recommendation to consult a professional (Pro, Ultra, Apex plans)
•Socratic — Guided questioning to stimulate independent thinking (Ultra, Apex plans)
•Debate — Deliberately opposing positions, structured argumentation (Ultra, Apex plans)
•Custom — System prompt entirely defined by the user (Apex plan only)
3.3 Agreement ScoreAfter each exchange, the platform automatically calculates a semantic agreement score between the models using vector embeddings and cosine similarity. This score, expressed as a percentage, indicates the degree of convergence between the AI models' positions. A score above 85% may trigger automatic termination of the discussion by convergence.
3.4 Additional Features•PDF export of complete debates (Ultra and Apex plans)
•Document upload (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, etc.) — content is extracted and transmitted to the models (all plans)
•Image upload (JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP) analyzed by Claude Vision before transmission to the models (all plans)
•Real-time voice transcription via Deepgram — direct dictation into the interface (all plans)
•Public sharing of debates via unique link, with viewing and forking by other users
•Unlimited debate history and search (Pro, Ultra, and Apex plans)
•Public API access (Apex plan only)
4. Account Registration and Access4.1 Registration RequirementsAccess to the Service requires creating a user account. Registration is exclusively done via Google OAuth authentication. You agree to use a valid, active Google account and to provide accurate, complete information.Registration is open to any individual who is at least 18 years of age, or to a duly authorized legal entity. By registering, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
4.2 Account SecurityYou are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities carried out from your account. You agree to notify Alethe immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach of which you become aware.Alethe cannot be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
4.3 Single Account PolicyEach User may hold only one active account on the platform. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, quotas, or subscription restrictions is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate termination of all accounts concerned.
4.4 Account Suspension and DeletionAlethe reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently delete any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice and without compensation. The User may also request deletion of their account at any time via the Settings section of the platform.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing5.1 Available PlansThe Service is available under four subscription tiers, each granting access to specific features and monthly usage quotas:•Free ($0/month) — Alethe and Friendly modes, 2 AI models (tier 1), 8 debates/month, 30,000-token cap per debate.
•Pro ($9/month) — Alethe, Friendly, Business, and Health modes, up to 3 AI models (tiers 1–2), 20 debates/month, 80,000-token cap per debate, PDF export, unlimited history.
•Ultra ($34.99/month) — All modes including Socratic and Debate, up to 5 AI models (tiers 1–3), 20 debates/month, 200,000-token cap per debate, PDF export.
•Apex ($99/month) — All modes including Custom, all AI models (tiers 1–4, including Claude Opus, GPT-5 Pro), 40 debates/month, 500,000-token cap per debate, public API access, priority 24/7 support.
A 20% discount applies to annual billing on all paid plans. 5.2 Billing CyclesPaid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Annual billing entitles you to a 20% discount on the equivalent monthly rate. Billing begins on the date of subscription and renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
5.3 Payment ProcessingPayments are processed via Stripe or Moneroo (chosen at checkout), our third-party payment service providers. Alethe does not store, process, or have access to your banking or card information. Any billing dispute must be addressed directly with the relevant provider, subject to their own terms of service.Stripe handles subscription renewals automatically. Moneroo is available for one-time payments or in regions where Stripe is unavailable.
5.4 Quotas and Token LimitsEach plan includes two types of usage limits:•Monthly debate quota — total number of debates that can be started in a given month (Free: 8, Pro: 20, Ultra: 20, Apex: 40). This quota resets on the first day of each calendar month. Unused quota does not carry over and cannot be refunded.
•Per-debate token cap — cumulative total of input and output tokens consumed by all models during a single debate session (Free: 30,000, Pro: 80,000, Ultra: 200,000, Apex: 500,000). When this cap is reached, the current debate ends automatically and gracefully — the model currently writing its response completes its message before stopping.
Exceeding the monthly quota blocks starting new debates until the monthly reset. The User may upgrade their plan at any time to unlock additional capacity. 5.5 Plan Changes and CancellationsYou may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from the Plans section of the platform. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — access to paid features is maintained until that date. No refund is granted for the remaining period following cancellation, unless required by applicable law.In the event of non-payment, the subscription automatically reverts to the Free plan at the end of the current billing period. Alethe reserves the right to suspend access immediately in cases of fraudulent or disputed payment.
5.6 Price ChangesAlethe reserves the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Users on paid plans will be informed of any price change at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
